Sean Pastuch, the owner and founder of ActiveLife joins us this week on The TeamBuildr Podcast. In this episode we talk to Sean about how he became so confident, overcoming failures and setbacks in building a business and his purpose in starting ActiveLife.
Dr. Sean was a kid from Long Island who only wanted to play baseball. After getting cut from the team at the University of Maryland, you would think his confidence would suffer - instead it sky rocketed. He went on to get his PT cert, worked at Wold Gym and Equinox, and eventually went on to become a chiropractor and starting a new business. Even getting his businesses crushed by Hurricane Sandy in 2012 he persevered.
Realizing there was a gap between the health professionals and the fitness professionals he came to founding Active Life.
Our mission is to humanize the doctor. And the way that we do that is by helping the doctor speak the language of the coach helping the coach speak the language of the doctor so they can have human conversation professionalizing the coach, so that the strength conditioning coach, the personal trainer, and the fitness professional can become what I believe, is the health care provider of the future.
